Today for the growth of our country and joining the society towards global revolution, it has become a compulsion for everybody to be educated. But we are aware that the standard education cannot be acquired by poor and slum people due to shortage of enough schools and there personal financial problems.

Our vision is to shape future, to conquer the present and future challenges to the socio-economic fabric of our society, by institutionalizing search, development, research and dissemination of relevant knowledge through structured learning systems.

Our mission is the development of global citizens or  individuals with self-confidence who are able to contribute to community life, building tolerance & accountability and able to deal with emotional and spiritual quotients. A student with knowledge, attitude, skills, social and moral values which enhances their personality development, physical and psycho-social capabilities are effectively achieved.

In my childhood days, some of my classmates left school. When I confronted them, the answer would be financial problem. No money to pay the fees, for uniform, for buying book, etc. From those days onwards, I made a mission to make a school for financially stricken children, with affordable amount of fees.

Ten years back, my mission was accomplished when I started my very own St.Maria English High School ( Ganesh Nagar, Kandivali West). With all the paper formalities done. At present the school consists of Jr. and Sr. Kg. and 1^st std to X^th std.

When we laid the foundation of USMANIA EDUCATIONAL MEDICAL & WELFARE TRUST in 2007 along with the bricks and mortar, we cemented a vision that would change the life of every poor people that passed through its impossible boundary.

We strongly focus and practice on activities that are aimed for the welfare of the society in general. These exercises generate awareness amongst the students and help to build an attitude of selfless service.

Some of the activities include:-
Maintaining Local Cleanliness: Students are continuously trained to adopt 'Local Cleanliness'. We ensure that students actively adopt this, irrespective whether they are within the school, at home, or in any public place. For example; if they are in the classroom they have to ensure that their class is completely litter free. They are not supervised by anybody instead they are made to be responsible themselves.
Rehabilitation / Relief Work: We also instill in the students, values like compassion, kindheartedness and generosity. In times of crisis students pool in resources like discarded clothes, books, newspapers, toys and other stuff, and distribute it to the needy.
Environmental Conservation: At a very young age itself students are taught about the vital role of plants in our eco-system to help sustain human life. To conserve environment, students form groups and initiate corrective action which involve.

Today, we can proudly say that, our trust did what we thought. We established St. MARIA ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL; Pre- primary, Primary section and secondary section. They have got placed in the most prestigious organizations. We're glad we can motivate them to perform to their full potential.

The school founded in 2008 and conducted by Usmania Trust imparts education through English medium; and the courses of the studies of the school is arranged to the syllabus laid down by the department of education.Its object to train children to work intelligently and to inculcate in the habits of reliance, self discipline and self –culture to encourage in them the spirit of boldness and enterprises and in this way to lay in them the foundation of good citizenship.

Important things needed in the school are:

1. School has to be repaired.

2. 2 more classrooms are needed and some space also for the activities to take place.

3. School needs atleast 30 computers to teach the students.

4. We are in desperate need of ground for student activities. From past few years we are using other ground which is very far from school and that required transport charges for the same. We need ground for the same.

5. School have Jr.Kg to X^th standard.

The USMANIA EDUCATIONAL MEDICAL & WELFARE TRUUST of ST. MARIA ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL seeks to develop and deliver Indian ethos in education. The teachings here are therefore enriched with an induction and competency development future. These are offered by interactive and participative exchanges with eminent personalities, experts, and practitioners offering an insight into the rich heritage of Indian culture and practices of ethical disciplines to deliver the Indian value system to the professionals of tomorrow. Therefore there are ongoing programmes in social camp and meditation across USMANIA TRUST.
